Its is the same fitting as the longer 60mm M42x1.25 mm male thread.
The length of the trumpet is 30mm + 18mm for the rounded gauze, with a maximum diameter of 75mm at the flared end.

Dell’Orto stopped printing these a while ago but eurocarb ltd. have commissioned a re-print! We now have the Dell’Orto tuning manual for motorcycle carburettors, and the original more technical Guide 1.1 in stock.
Both books provide invaluable advice and tips on how to choose and set up Dell’Orto tapered needle carburettors.
